Exhaust Sizes

Hey all,
As I am having trouble accessing the UK site I thought that I should ask my overseas buddies. I am thinking of buying an OBX Racing header and am wondering if it will fit my Jap Import Sol. Its the siR (DOHC VTEC) model. Are the connections the same size as yours and so on.

I'm pretty sure that they'll hook up fine. I don't believe there's any difference in the exhaust hookups between USDM/EDM/JDM B16-18 motors. It's mostly internals/compression that are different.

Ok, any header for the b16 should fit fine, you can even use the one for the b18C5 but it will hang down a bit more than the b16 one, as the Type R motor is 1/4 inch taller then the b16 block. The only other thing on the Type R motor header is the flange at the cat mounting is bigger then the b16 one 2 1/2 inches vers 2 inches. I think the one for the b18c1 block (GSR here) is taller too because of the height difference in blocks, cat size is the same as the b16 though. The only other one, a b16 (SIR III) which uses a b18 block and a b16 crank would also have this taller header because of the block height.

Thanks for the help guys. Have bought the OBX 4-1 header. Due to the exchange rate I got a great deal. ?135, the equivalent here in the UK is ?367!!!!
